Born into a blue-collar family in Liverpool, England, I immigrated to the US in the early 90s and settled in North Carolina.
I’ve led a varied (haphazard?) life, putting bread on the table as a plumber, computer programmer, salesperson, marketing executive, hotel operator, real-estate developer, and llama farmer.
Ten years ago, I reached a point where I was able to slow down and chose how to spend most of my time.
I can’t honestly say I’ve always wanted to write fiction. But I have always found that time disappears when I’m putting words on paper. I decided to give it a try.
I confess the learning curve has been far steeper than I anticipated. But I feel I’ve finally reached a place where I can turn out a decent story. At least I think so. Although only a reader can be the judge of that.
I like to write the type of novels I enjoy reading: fast-paced, multi-threaded stories that make me wonder–what if?
I’d be honored if you chose to spend some of your time inside one of my stories.
Greetings from Vancouver.
